Notes on Literature

So, I've been trying to engage more closely with what I read, and the easiest way I've found is to write a review every so often, and an arbitrary constraint I adhere to when writing these reviews is to make it a point to refer to the historical or political circumstances under which the book was written and published, or to another text that resonates with it. This method often takes me down rabbit holes I wasn't quite anticipating and well, I'm dragging you down with me.

Notes on Cinema

This is an attempt to watch more films and compile a set of personal archives, tentatively categorised by director, accompanied by cursory descriptions of each film and links to watch them, where possible.

I've also stationed some notes on particluar films, or sets of films, below. These notes are often extensions of what I write on Letterboxd, but they may also reflect on film theory here and there.
