Notes on Cinema

This is an attempt to watch more films and compile a set of personal archives, tentatively categorised by director, accompanied by cursory descriptions of each film and links to watch them, where possible.

I should specify, that I live in India, where piracy is the life-blood of even a passing interest in cinema; most films are not released here, nor are they available to access by any other means. Our choices are to steal, or never watch anything more than the big budget features that can afford cinema-hall, multiplex, or digital distribution fees, so spare me the hand-wringing about copyright law.

I've also stationed some notes on particluar films, or sets of films, below. These notes are often extensions of what I write on Letterboxd, but they may also reflect on film theory here and there.
